Chevelle was appointed as a Board director in June 2023. She is an experienced public servant, working in strategy, policy and communications roles at the Commonwealth level across a range of areas, including agriculture, COVID-19, First Nations, waste and recycling, and veterans’ employment.

Chevelle holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design and a Masters of Public Administration. She enjoys combining these two areas, using design thinking to take a user-centred approach to solving complex policy problems. She is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable people in Canberra and the surrounding region.
