The service and what we do
The team at Your Place work to solve immediate and long-term housing difficulties, supporting people through the process with practical and emotional support. Focusing on strength-based case management plans we work alongside clients and closely with local support agencies to provide integrated case coordination. Through the Tenancy Service and Louisa they have access to some limited crisis and transitional accommodation in Queanbeyan. The service started in August 2014, replacing Gunyah Women’s Housing, and operates in the Queanbeyan region of New South Wales, Australia. Molonglo Support Services, the parent company of Your Place Housing Support Services has been working actively in Australia since 1979.
Our aim is to assist people to have a place they can call home and to improve their health and wellbeing. We work in collaboration with our lead agency Barnardos Queanbeyan, NSW to provide appropriate and effective services to adults and families (singles aged 25 years and over) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our goal is to build a strong and sustainable future through early intervention, active case management, coordination of services and provide assistance to access stable housing.
